ASHE

Active Students for a Healthy Environment is the oldest student environmental organization on campus.  ASHE meets regularly and coordinates closely with the Student Government Association, UNC Asheville's Student Environmental Center, and the University Administration.  We host several events each semester on topics ranging from sustainable agriculture to renewable energy.  Student potlucks have been a regular feature of our group for several years.  We also organize and support students to attend conferences including PowerShift in Washington DC, at which UNC Asheville always has a significant showing.  All UNC Asheville students are welcome.
